What we kept secret in our interview
We are superstars! Mom was surprised when the Funny Farmer Felines asked us to give an interview for the magazine Mousebreath. Why was she so surprised? We’re most beautiful and clever – no wonder that major magazines are standing in line to get an interview with us!
Our human isn’t as gorgeous as we, but she sure will also become famous one day – in her own niche so to say: she’d do great on comedy and epic fail shows!
Let’s take the question How did you all come to live together? as an example. We already shared a funny misunderstanding in our interview, but there’s more to the story: the staff of our shelter had a good laugh after Mom’s first visit.
Our human is very afraid of spiders and hoped that cats, being brave predators, would exterminate all eight-legged devils. Can you believe that she actually asked the staff if they had ever seen us chasing spiders?? Now, shelters are certainly used to weird questions, but they never had someone asking for a spider executioner. Oh yes, you bet we all had a blast!

Tessa with her most evil laughter
In case you’re wondering: we are indeed interested in spiders, but we hardly ever kill them. You all know that we cats love to play with our prey. We often catch spiders, but we won’t kill them right away because we want to play with them first. However, spiders are very fast and often manage to escape alive. Bah.
It’s hard to believe, but Mom doesn’t appreciate our attempts to save her life. She says that she was better off when she knew where the spider was. Knowing that a dangerous spider is hiding somewhere in our apartment freaks her out. Humans! A really ungrateful race. Oh, and on a sidenote: there’s no toxic spiders in Finland – Mom’s hysterical for no reason.

good afternoon guys. we wanted to write and say we saw your comment and we understand. we have several blogs we follow that we reply in standard english, trout speech is difficult to figure out and thanx for letting us know it was not easy to read, that way when we comment we will do so like this. we dont take any offense but instead welcome your feed back. we are fierce when it comes to spiders too, in fact sometimes we will let the food girl THINK one is in the house by staring at the floor….and in fact…there’s not!! we are bad we know:). HA. hope everyone has a great weekend❤️❤️
August 5, 2017 @ 19:42
Haha, excellent move to let her think that you saw a spider!!! Good work! It’s important to keep humans on their toes!
We’re so relieved to read your answer. Our human was nervous when she saw your name. We just realized that we don’t read blogs with spoken language because it’s too difficult to understand (for us! It obviously works for a lot of people!)
And then it hit us that people can’t know why we don’t read their blogs. We’re afraid that some bloggers think we’re rude (or that we don’t like them) when we hardly read / comment on their blogs. That’s why we decided to explain our behavior. Oh, and we don’t mind short comments in spoken language – but more than a few lines like in blog posts are too difficult. <3

guys, it’s ok, we have several readers who never leave comments and this is true for everyone who has a blog….. no matter if they are on blogger, wordpress or google plus, not everyone will leave a comment and we all understand this, and its all good
some blogs will have a translator button, but since we write in a made up language, that wont work, but we truly do understand the difficulty our blog presents, to even those whose primary language is english 🙂
even the food girls mom does not understand us!!
and there are some blogs we don’t understand either ~~~~
enjoy the rest of your weekend, we usually dont blog on weekends because we have to supervise the food girl with house chores. see you next week then ❤️❤️
August 6, 2017 @ 10:07
Thank you, and you too!
Oh yes, of course we know what you mean – and we love all readers, with or without comments. Honestly. Mom is so surprised when she sees our site stats and realizes that people are actually reading our blog! So nobody should be pressured to comment – we’re happy the way it is! <3 .
That being said, we got some emails asking us why we don’t like their blogs as we don’t comment. Sigh.

That is too funny. I like spiders. i enjoyed your interview.
August 6, 2017 @ 10:04
Oh. Mom wants you to become her best friend and move in! She thinks you may be doing a better job on the spider defending front than us. Then again, as you like spiders, you’ll most likely showing them the way out instead of killing them.
It’s so weird. Mom is trying to become a vegan, BUT only a dead spider is a good spider in her opinion. /Tessa and Kajsa
August 6, 2017 @ 00:58
That is so funny! We’re the same way…we like to play with the spiders like toys. While the mom wishes we would kill them on the spot!
August 6, 2017 @ 10:00
Exactly!!! I hate my cats when they lay excited on the floor, wagging their tails, observing the d*rn spider, waiting for its next move … Gnarg. /the human

Wow, how exciting getting featured on Mousebreath! Congrats!
I’m sure not many shelter visitors ask about spider executioners:-)
August 6, 2017 @ 09:56
Thank you! Although the girls think they’re natural superstars, I was really surprised when the Funny Farmer Felines wrote us an email. I first thought it was spam because our blog is so small that I couldn’t see why anybody was interested. /the human
August 6, 2017 @ 02:52
We enjoyed your interview but can’t comment over there, it just won’t let us. I love to chase spiders too!!
August 6, 2017 @ 09:54
Huh huh. Sorry you can’t comment on Mousebreath! I’ve no idea why (and frankly, I’m glad it’s not my problem. I HATE dealing with technical problems. Well I guess most people do). Do you ever eat (or at least kill) your spiders? /the human
August 6, 2017 @ 10:23
Pawsome interview, girls ! We enjoyed learning more about you ! Purrs
