Kajsa is a great cat for lazy servants. She likes to sit on my belly for hours, and you don’t even need to move when she wants to play: she’s a bit of a dog, because she likes to fetch balls.
In case you’re wondering what I’m saying: (Urg. Isn’t it always awful to hear your own voice on tape?)
tuu tänne – come here
hyvä(ä) – good , well done
Poor Tessa understands tuu tänne, but she doesn’t get the idea of the game. You can see her in the end of the video, she looks confused.
A blog hop is a specific topic bloggers write about on a certain day. The blog hop (hopping from one blog to another) collects all links, and makes it easy to see how others have interpreted this topic. 52 Snapshots of Life is a Weekly Themed Photo Challenge hosted by The Lazy Pit Bull . This week’s topic is Play.
Thank you for all your opinions on my second floor! I admit that I didn’t like them, because I wanted to give Kajsa and Tessa access to potential playgrounds. So I did something very unusual; I tried to solve a problem by asking others for favors. I talked with my landlord, and I’m so stunned: I will install a cat flap into the door between the staircase and the first cold room! I’m so happy that I asked. The doors are from 1890, and I was pretty sure he wouldn’t like the idea of cat flaps, but he said that this particular door isn’t a problem.
I decided to keep the study for myself, meaning cat-free. The second cold room will be a storage for all the stuff we don’t need and should probably throw away. So my spoiled cats will have their very own room of 35 m2 / 380 ft2!
Mamma wrote this post yesterday. Haha, she freaked out in the meantime, because Kajsa had diarrhea. Mamma is too tired to write a poop post now, but she promised to write a summary tomorrow. Urg, she mentioned some vet appointment tomorrow as well??? Check the livetickeron herFacebook page if you want to join the fun (DON’T calm her down, Kajsa and I are enjoying her nursing behavior!!) / Tessa
Dear servants to cats,
I need your help! No, for once I haven’t freaked out, and I’m pretty sure my cats will survive tonight. I need some opinions on my house.
I live in a very strange house from 1890. It’s a semi-detached house, but the house is divided in a very odd way. (more…)
… was OK. I learnt something new: whiskers tickle! Ok, all of you knew this, but I didn’t. Tessa and / or Kajsa (I don’t know) also liked to go under my bed and scratch the mattress from below. So I woke up several times, but nobodyjumped on my belly! As far as I know, I was sleeping alone in my bed. They were meowing for food at 7 am, which is great, because that’s when I’m supposed to get up. (more…)
Do you remember Rachel’s cat Voldemort eh Valdo? Turned out he wasn’t a murderer that night, but he certainly challenged my cardiac rhythm.
I was watching some TV in the kitchen. Valdo was upstairs, and I assumed that he was sleeping in my bed. After 2 hours, I became suspicious. I hadn’t heard any noise, nothing fell and no meowing for more food. I needed to check what he was doing. He wasn’t in my bedroom. He wasn’t on the attic. He wasn’t in my wardrobe. There was no one but me and an open balcony door. (more…)
I’m wondering if I should rename my blog to When sanity’s away, hysteria will play? Oh my. Thank you for still reading here. I’ve calmed down. I’ll still get checked out, even though I don’t think I’m allergic to cats. However, it’s an easy and reliable test, and I won’t have to worry anymore. I talked with the shelter about allergies yesterday, because I didn’t know that a cat allergy can also cause rashes. They asked me today how I felt and want me to get tested. I agree with them. I’d be really awful if the cats came home and needed to be replaced again.
