First of all – I made it through, and there are 1516 of us! Congratulations to all of you! I also want to thank the hosts of the A to Z challenge – you really made a great job! I was participant number 1464 on day 1 and 1183 on the last day. I can imagine that it was a lot of work to follow up on all the participants, and to leave comments on their blogs! (more…)
Despite the rumors, cats are not dominating 60% of the Internet. I wouldn’t be surprised if cats were spreading that rumor themselves – today the dog, tomorrow the world! Making people think they already dominate the Internet is actually a great tactical move. Cats for president!
Ok then, they don’t statistically dominate the Internet, but ever wondered why cats are nevertheless omnipresent? Neoreach reveals 5 hidden psychological reasons cats dominate the internet. (Here we go again: cats are not even among the 10 most popular topics online!)(more…)
I’m participating in this year’s A-Z challenge. You can sign up until 4/2/2015 11:59 PM North America – Eastern Standard Time if you’d like to join us! The rules are very easy:
The A to Z Challenge is posting every day in April except Sundays (…) And since there are 26 days, that matches the 26 letters of the alphabet. On April 1, blog about something that begins with the letter “A.” April 2 is “B,” April 3 is “C,” and so on.

There were so many things to learn and read! (more…)

That you can’t know what my upcoming postings will deal with. No wonder it’s confusing what I really want to say: do I like cats? Have I decided whether I want cats? Thank you, Timmy Tomcat, for making me aware of that!
Bottom line: Until recently, I haven’t cared for cats. Ashley (and no, this blog is not about our friendship) texted me the other day: It’s funny, you were never interested in my cats and now you’ve become a crazy cat lady. This message says it all: (more…)
I can’t believe I started a cat blog. I mean – already the fact of me getting a cat is probably already something my shrink could consider ‘interesting enough to develop further’. Probably she’d be happy because I can even tell a traumatic early childhood experience. (more…)
