G as in Good Book. “A truly good book teaches me better than to read it.”

A truly good book teaches me better than to read it. I must soon lay it down, and commence living on its hint…. What I began by reading, I must finish by acting. ~Henry David Thoreau

I like to read novels, but I never read fact books. I rely on the Internet when I need information and facts. However, I was at the library today and got some cat books: I needed some restricted literature. There’re so many cat pages, so many opinions, so many interesting stories and so much information! That’s great (after all, I’m writing a blog on cats as well!), but it’s also overwhelming.
I’m looking forward to reading a book instead.

I’m about making coffee, and I found some left-over Easter candies (Ok, this is a white lie. I ‘found’ reduced Easter candies at the store…). It’s still too cold for sitting in the garden, but my sofa is a great alternative. Cozy pillows, books, coffee and candy, I’m so close to paradise! Ok, as close as a paradise without cats can possibly be.

And talking about living without cats – I can finally visit Kajsa and Tessa today! It’s been a long break because the shelter was closed during Easter. Can’t wait! I hope they still recognize me. At least Kajsa looked sad when I told her that I can’t visit them for 6 days.
